  2. These compositions deserve to be examined at length, Kelly-marie. Each one is alive with color, motion and, as you pointed out, whimsy. Thank you, dear friend!

  3. Oh how gorgeous!! I'm usually not too interested in modern fashion spreads... but Tim Walker is such a brilliant artist! I want to live in one of his whimsical, fantastic worlds.

  6. These are so stunning! I love the fairy tale elements to them and your title of course being a huge Wizard of Oz fan! Somewhere over the rainbow was my party piece when I was little. Is this inspiration for future VMing in Beyond Retro by any chance?

  7. Emma: I would LOVE it if this was future inspiration for a theme at BR but sadly we have no fairytale themes coming up. :( I think I should persuade my head VM to sneak it in somewhere.
We have a 'silent film' theme in a few months and i'm really excited about that one. I am a massive Wizard of Oz fan too and apparently so is Tim Walker as the shoot was already named that. It is such a beautiful name for a photoshoot. xx
